About our Team
Dr. Pam Vollmer
Dr. Pam Vollmer earned her BSN from Florida State University in 2006. After graduation, she worked as an Emergency Department (ED) nurse for eight years, taking on roles as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor. Transitioning from the ED, she joined an outpatient clinic where she provided primary care services and care management to a diverse range of patients.
Dr. Vollmer went on to complete her MSN at Jacksonville University in 2015, marking the beginning of her career as a clinical nurse educator. With a passion for nursing education and nurse professional development, she further advanced her expertise by completing a DNP program at Regis College in 2022, specializing in nursing education.
She is nationally certified by the ANCC in Ambulatory Care (AMB-BC) and Nurse Professional Development (NPD-BC). With extensive experience in developing and implementing teaching and learning programs,
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Vollmer enjoys spending time with her family on their hobby farm, where they care for horses, chickens, cats, and a dog. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, cooking, playing the flute, and sewing.
Dr. Vollmer proudly serves as the CEO and Director of Content at CE Ready, where she oversees the creation of high-quality educational content for nurses.
